Spring Salmon Dinner

Salmon is loaded with a wealth of nutrients our little one’s need and it’s one of the sweeter fish with a texture most children love.  If your little one is new to salmon, this could be a great segue to getting your child familiar with its flavor – the sweet additions to this recipe will compliment the natural sweetness of the salmon.  We’ll start off with a little bit of salmon, with a lot of other goodness inside this puree to get things going… Fish is considered a high-allergen, so please speak directly with your pediatrician before you introduce fish to your child’s diet.

Fills one 6 oz Sili Squeeze

2 oz strawberries

1 oz salmon, wild & fresh, skin & bones removed

1 oz rainbow chard, gently steamed until bright green

1 oz plain Greek yogurt

1 tsp freshly grated lemon zest

2 fresh mint leaves

While the salmon is warm, but not hot, puree all the ingredients until smooth.  Serve warm or room temperature.

*As always, consult your healthcare professional before introducing new foods to your baby’s diet.  We always recommend local, organic ingredients for maximum health benefits and thoroughly rinsing/cleaning all produce.
